MUSICAL THEATRE

In Musical Theatre we strive to become what’s known as a “Triple threat” which is equal strength in singing, dancing and acting. Musical theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines acting, singing and dancing to develop a well-rounded stage performer, and tell a story through performance. Musical theatre classes develop students’ technical and expressive skills across all three areas while having great fun.

Our Musical Theatre classes are grouped into the following levels:

  • Pre-Juniors (ages 6 – 7 years old)
  • Juniors (ages 8 – 10 years old)
  • Pre-Intermediate (ages 10 – 11 years old)
  • Intermediate (ages 11 – 12 years old)
  • Senior (ages 13 – 18 years old)

Student’s theatre experience and skills, along with age are taken into consideration when placing students within classes.
